What You'll Be Working On Reporting within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) and based at Lyell McEwin Health Service, you will deliver specialist biomedical engineering support across a broad clinical equipment portfolio. Your day-to-day will include: Performing scheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of medical devices and systems to manufacturer and Australian Standards requirements Coordinating equipment acceptance testing and safety inspections to support clinical risk management Maintaining accurate records within the asset management system and contributing to equipment lifecycle planning Providing technical guidance to clinical and operational staff on safe equipment use and escalation pathways What You'll Bring A qualification in electrical/electronic engineering, biomedical engineering technology, or a closely related discipline Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of medical or complex electronic equipment Familiarity with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements relevant to medical devices (including AS/NZS 3551) Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work methodically under competing priorities Experience working within, or willingness to align with, SA Health's safety and quality frameworks Clear written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clinical teams and external service agents To be eligible for this position, you must have a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
