Qualifications
:
A doctorate in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, Education or related field is required, specializing in any of the following areas: English language pedagogy, language acquisition, language testing, language technology. Foreign equivalent degree from a nationally accredited institution accepted.

Responsibilities
:
Teaching requirement is 30 semester credit hours per year over three semesters in some (but not all) of the following subject areas/courses:
Advanced I & II English as an International Language Courses
TESOL & Linguistics courses
Scholarship, creative endeavor, ongoing professional development, and university service are required.
BYU-Hawaii’s primary focus is undergraduate learning and teaching. The individual should be fully committed to student learning (

Benefits
:
Salary range: 103-120K
A limited relocation expense package is provided.
Annually renewable contract eligible for Continuing Faculty Status (BYU-H equivalent of “tenure-track”)
Standard BYU-Hawaii benefits package for regular full-time employees.
