Who we are We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it. Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs. When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you. What’s the opportunity? Play a critical role in supporting Mungari’s social licence to operate while helping shape the future of our growing WA gold operations. This is a unique opportunity to influence how cultural heritage, native title engagement and stakeholder relationships are integrated into operational planning, project development and Life of Mine decision-making. Reporting to the Superintendent Environmental, you’ll be part of a highly respected Sustainability team and work closely with operational and technical leaders across the business. With strong support from site leadership and Group functions, this role offers meaningful stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to play a key role in advancing cultural heritage strategy within a major mining operation. Based at our Mungari Operations, you’ll: Build and maintain trusted, productive relationships with Traditional Owners, Native Title groups and First Nations stakeholders to support positive long-term outcomes. Partner with Planning, Geology, Technical Services and Project teams to identify cultural heritage opportunities and constraints early, supporting operational continuity and future growth. Lead cultural heritage management activities, including heritage surveys, management plans, compliance obligations and heritage agreement requirements. Provide strategic advice that helps integrate cultural heritage considerations into Life of Mine planning, resource development, exploration and project studies. Support community relations and reconciliation initiatives that strengthen relationships and create lasting value for stakeholders and the business. Why Mungari Operations? Mungari is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio, with a mine life to at least 2038. It’s operationally diverse, with opportunities to work on the surface or underground and a great team of people who care. Our recent expansion of the processing plant has more than doubled processing capacity from 2 million to 4.2 million tonnes per year. With open pit and processing all on one site, the operational diversity is ideal for uplifting careers. This position can be either FIFO from Perth on a 4:3 (Mon-Thurs) roster, working 12-hour days, or you can choose to live residentially in Kalgoorlie and work a 5:2:4:3 roster (10-hour days), relocation within Australia will be supported. What we offer you We support, develop and reward you to ensure you have a bright future. Here’s how we back that up: Quarterly performance bonus Employee share scheme, giving you a real stake in our success Relocation assistance for eligible candidates Attractive FIFO (4:3) and residential (5:2:4:3) roster options Salary packaging opportunities, including novated leasing Life insurance and income protection Paid parental leave Study assistance and career development opportunities Recognition and reward programs Discounted health insurance Exposure to strategic business decisions, stakeholder engagement and long-term growth initiatives within a major gold operation Does this sound like you? Tertiary qualifications in stakeholder relations, community development, corporate affairs or a related field will be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience in Cultural Heritage, Indigenous Engagement, Native Title, Community Relations, Social Performance or a related discipline. At least five years' experience working in complex operational environments, ideally within mining, resources, energy, infrastructure or major projects. Extensive experience building and managing relationships with Traditional Owners, Native Title groups and other First Nations stakeholders. Strong understanding of cultural heritage management, compliance obligations, heritage agreements and stakeholder engagement practices. Experience coordinating cultural heritage surveys, managing heritage data and supporting risk-based decision making. Highly developed communication, negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities. A reputation for integrity, sound judgement, initiative and professional credibility. Current manual WA driver's licence and Australian working rights. Ready to create your career highlight with us? As our name suggests, change and evolution are in our DNA. If you’d like to work with a team that turns challenges into opportunities and delivers on its bold ambitions, we want to hear from you. Find out more about us at our Careers site. Bold team. Bright future.
