[Tokyo] Bridge System Engineer (BrSE)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Bridge System Engineer (BrSE) to work onsite in Tokyo, acting as the primary communication bridge between Japanese clients and our offshore development team in Vietnam. You will play a key role in requirement clarification, technical coordination, and project delivery management to ensure high-quality software solutions that meet client expectations. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise, excellent Japanese communication skills, and practical experience in software development or project coordination within offshore projects.

PROJECT INFORMATION

• Position: Bridge System Engineer
• Working Location: Tokyo, Japan (Relocate provided)
• Language: JPLN N2
• Interview process: 2-3 round (Online)
• Salary: Upto 700 Man (Nego)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the main point of contact between Japanese clients and the Vietnam development team.
• Analyze, clarify, and document business requirements from Japanese clients.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for the development team.
• Support system design discussions, technical proposals, and solution architecture alignment.
• Coordinate project planning, task allocation, progress tracking, and risk management.
• Facilitate meetings, daily communication, and reporting between stakeholders.
• Review deliverables (design documents, source code, test cases) to ensure quality and alignment with client expectations.
• Support UAT, deployment, and post-release issue handling when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, project coordination, or BrSE role.
• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 or above — capable of discussing technical topics and negotiating directly with Japanese clients.
• Strong understanding of SDLC (requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following technologies:
• Java, .NET, PHP, NodeJS, ReactJS, VueJS, or similar frameworks.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skill

• Experience working with Japanese clients in offshore development projects.
• Experience in system integration or enterprise system development.
• Knowledge of AWS, cloud architecture, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience as a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Project Coordinator is a plus.
