Trading Systems Engineer — Low Latency - C++ or RUST - (OMS / Pricing Platform) | Singapore

Platinum & Partners have been instructed to identify a Trading Systems Engineer for a leading proprietary trading firm based in Singapore. The firm is scaling its core trading infrastructure and has multiple headcount open for talented low-latency engineers who want to build systems that matter — directly connected to trading performance and PnL.

The Opportunity

You will play a central role in designing and scaling the infrastructure that powers the firm's high-frequency trading operations. Working closely with quantitative traders and fellow engineers, you will build and own core system components across execution, order management, real-time market data and exchange connectivity — across both centralised and decentralised trading venues. This is a technically deep, hands-on role in a lean, non-siloed engineering environment. Full global relocation support is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency, high-throughput trading systems to support a broad range of algorithmic strategies
• Build and maintain robust connectivity with exchanges and protocols, ensuring reliable execution and seamless market access
• Develop and optimise OMS, pricing engines and smart order routing components
• Profile, tune and improve system performance to achieve ultra-fast execution at scale
• Collaborate directly with quantitative traders to translate trading ideas into production-grade systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining low-latency systems for algorithmic trading
• Production proficiency in C++ or Rust
• Hands-on experience integrating exchange and broker APIs, order management systems, pricing engines and smart order routers
• Strong systems-level understanding: performance profiling, memory management, OS tuning and debugging in latency-sensitive environments
• Background from an HFT firm, prop trading shop or quantitative market maker
• Open to relocation to Singapore
