Transplant Surgeon

Department/Unit: Surgery Transplant Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: Albany Medical College is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Transplant Surgeon to join its established and collaborative abdominal transplant program. This is an opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team within a leading academic health system that supports clinical excellence, education, and continued program growth. This role offers: A comprehensive transplant practice with a focus on kidney and pancreas transplantation Participation in multi-organ deceased donor procurement A broad surgical scope, including general surgery and vascular access procedures Access to robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques The ideal candidate will have: Experience in kidney and pancreas transplantation Proficiency in multi-organ donor procurement Training or experience in robotic and minimally invasive surgery The successful applicant will play an active role in advancing the transplant program while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This position includes an academic appointment at Albany Medical College, with rank commensurate with experience, and provides meaningful opportunities in teaching, quality initiatives, and clinical collaboration.
