Purpose

Responsibilities
Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge of heavy-duty equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment.
Technical Analysis: Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements, modifications, or upgrades to enhance productivity, safety, and efficiency.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used, ensuring a thorough and organized documentation process.
Training and Education
Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy duty equipment maintenance and repair
Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) required
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
