Venue Manager

Our great local venue, The Kooyong Hotel, is seeking a new Venue Manager to lead the team. If you’re an aspiring manager ready for the opportunity to step up and run your own venue, this could be the perfect next move. We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on, motivated, and passionate about hospitality. You’ll be leading from the front, building a strong team culture, and ensuring every guest has a great experience. The Kooyong Hotel is a well-loved local with a strong community feel, and we need someone who can continue that while bringing fresh energy and ideas to the role. What's on Offer: Generous Salary $90,000 - $100,000 + Super Quarterly KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A Opportunity to be part of a professional and well-known hospitality team Relocation assistance available Sponsorship available for the right candidate Autonomous role with excellent company support Exceptional team culture Essential requirements: 3+ years of Venue Management experience Proven experience managing a large food and beverage-focused venue Strong experience working Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyze where there is an opportunity to grow your business Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends Write and control an effective roster Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully RLMV, Approved Managers License, Gaming Nominee & CLO are a must We value the diversity of our employees' experiences, talents, and cultures.
