Life at Pennine Veterinary Group

Pennine Veterinary Group is situated across two sites, our Tottington and Harwood branches, providing the opportunity to work within two busy, well-established practices that are just 10 minutes apart. Tottington benefits from excellent transport links to Bury and Manchester, while Harwood offers a charming village setting with a countryside feel. You'll be supported by a dedicated team of 7 RVNs, administrator, Senior Clinical/Practice Directors, receptionists and PCAs.

While some sole charge responsibility is involved, particularly at Harwood, you'll be a part of a highly collaborative and inclusive team where everyone's ideas are valued. As a training practice with a strong focus on development, continuous improvement, and delivering the highest standard of patient care, we offer excellent opportunities for in-house learning, close working relationships with neighbouring practices, and a genuinely supportive culture.

The role is full-time, 40 hours a week role across 4 with a share 1 in 4 Saturday rota. We can also consider part-time, reduced hours, or flexible applications to help fit around your lifestyle – just let us know what works for you.

About You

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Tottington & Harwood teams. Working within a culture where clinicians are empowered to make the best decisions, where improvement is encouraged and where best practice is shared, you will be:

  • As an experienced vet, you'll bring a strong level of clinical autonomy and be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
