We are seeking a vet with at least 3 years’ experience who has a bias towards internal medicine preferably with enhanced ultrasonography skills, since we see a high caseload of medical work ups and second opinions. They would need to be happy to do some consulting. The salary is up to £74,000 per year, depending on skills and experience. This three-vet practice is not open overnight, but in terms of a very interesting case load and team size (10-11 people on many days) it resembles a hospital but without the stress of actually being one. It is run by a vastly experienced Branch Partner vet. Procedures that can't be done in clinic are taken to Hendon 24 Hr Hospital. The practice as an excellent MyLab Fox ultrasound machine, full dental equipment including dental x-ray and up to date laboratory and monitoring equipment. It's a bright, spacious clinic situated on the Finchley Road in NW11 with free on-street parking and good transport links. This is a full-time role (40 hours a week), with a four-day week plus either 1 in 6 full weekends at Hendon 24 or 1 in 3 Saturdays on a two-clinic run. Our vets share bank holiday and on-call duties and can expect to work 2-3 bank holiday shifts a year and have 2-3 weeks of on-call per year. As a Vet you will be accountable for patient care within the clinic, whilst ensuring we deliver exceptional care, always there for our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance.
