Vice President of Finance

We are a privately held, global manufacturing leader with more than $2 billion in annual revenue, serving customers across automotive, industrial, and advanced manufacturing markets. Known for operational excellence, innovation, and long-term stability, we are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Finance to join our executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a strategic business partner to the CFO, CEO, and executive leadership team.
• Lead all financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
• Oversee financial reporting, management reporting, and business analytics.
• Drive profitability improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Lead annual operating plans, capital investment analysis, and ROI evaluations.
• Develop financial models supporting acquisitions, major capital projects, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing leadership to improve financial performance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs that drive operational excellence and accountability.
• Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance organization while fostering continuous improvement.
• Support treasury, working capital optimization, and cash flow management initiatives.
• Present financial results and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and ownership.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA and/or CPA preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Executive-level finance experience within a complex manufacturing organization exceeding $1 billion in annual revenue.
• Strong background supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
• Deep expertise in:
o Financial Planning & Analysis
o Manufacturing cost accounting
o Strategic planning
o Capital investment analysis
o Operational finance
o KPI development
o Business intelligence and analytics
• Experience leading large finance teams across multiple locations.
• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced financial modeling expertise.
