Join the Civmec Team Civmec is seeking experienced Special Class Welders to join our major projects across Western Australia. We have multiple opportunities available on various DIDO and FIFO rosters International candidates requiring visa sponsorship are encouraged to apply. Immediate Start Competitive Full Time + penalties on offer Additional allowances for Tools and Attendance Vast overtime available Weekly Pay Free onsite parking Career progression, continuous and long-term work available VISA Sponsorship considered for the right candidates The Role Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards. Undertake and pass all necessary weld qualifications in required weld processes Perform the welding of steel components in all positions Maintain all correct consumables, feeds, amperages and pre heat in accordance with applicable weld procedures Perform 6g TIG welding techniques Weld steel structures in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion of steel components About You Recognised Welding Certificate Previous records of passed welder qualifications (preferred but not essential) Ability to pass appropriate Weld Test Minimum 3 years with similar welding processes, specifications and standards Gantry Crane competency - desirable VETASSESS skills assessment completed (required for international/visa‑sponsored candidates) Civmec + You At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ‘Never Assume’ culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
