Project Overview: The rapid growth of AI and digitalization is driving unprecedented demand for data centers that require large, reliable sources of energy. In response, the Renewables & Clean Power (R&CP) team have signed the EPC contract for the Cheyenne Power Hub Project, one of the largest gas-fired power generation facilities in the United States. The candidate will act as the Lead Electrical Superintendent for the CCGT Area on the Cheyenne Power Hub Project in Cheyenne, Wyoming, supporting preconstruction planning. Job Summary: Supports project workforce readiness by developing, coordinating, delivering, and tracking craft and leadership training programs. Works with Labor Relations, Construction, Workforce Services, union training organizations, and project leadership to ensure personnel are properly trained, qualified, and competent for assigned work. #LI-TH1 Major Responsibilities: Training Program Administration Develop and maintain project training matrices. Coordinate required and recommended training by craft, classification, and work activity. Schedule and track training classes and certifications. Manage training records and compliance documentation. Competency Verification Plan and administer Verification of Competency (VoC) assessments. Prepare testing facilities and evaluation materials. Conduct or oversee skills assessments and trade testing. Validate qualifications for high-risk tasks, tools, and equipment operation. Training Delivery Deliver classroom and field-based training. Conduct orientation and onboarding training. Support Train-the-Trainer programs. Coordinate specialized vendor and manufacturer training programs., Workforce Development Programs Support apprenticeship and apprenticeship-readiness initiatives. Coordinate upskilling programs for craft professionals. Partner with unions, training trusts, community organizations, and educational institutions. Assist with leadership development and career progression programs. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with project training requirements, ES&H standards, and workforce development procedures. Maintain training dashboards, records, certifications, and audit documentation. Track training effectiveness and workforce capability metrics. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
