Job Description

The President will play a crucial role in leading the US Subsidiary, working closely with the Group President to develop and execute strategic initiatives. This role involves overseeing the subsidiary's business and product strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives, and managing day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the US Subsidiary's business and product strategies, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry partners, and local authorities, identifying new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee hiring and management of the R&D team, including budget and resource management.
• Lead new product development from concept through delivery and improve existing products.
• Manage new product development, cost reduction, product line enhancement, and testing.
• Oversee daily operations including financial, tax, HR, and IT management.
• Provide leadership within the organization and maintain relationships with key departments at the China Head Office.
• Foster a team-based environment to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with US federal and state laws, industry regulations, and standards.
• Regularly report business progress, risks, and strategic proposals to group headquarters, coordinating resources between China and US teams.

Essential Skills

• Bachelors degree or above in Business Administration, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Pet Food/Food Technology, or related fields.
• 15+ years of management experience in subsidiary operations, preferably in the pet food equipment or food processing machinery industry.
• In-depth understanding of US local market rules, industry standards, business compliance, and cross-border operation models.
• Strong strategic thinking and business development capability with full P&L management experience.
• Excellent cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and high-level customer relationship management skills.
• Outstanding team leadership, organizational management, and cross-departmental coordination abilities.
• Independent judgment and problem-solving skills to handle complex cross-cultural situations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the pet food equipment or food processing machinery industry.
• Experience with R&D and innovation in processing equipment for industries such as aqua feed, pet foods, human food, and oilseed.

Work Environment

The position offers flexibility with the option to work on-site or remotely. The US Subsidiary serves as an R&D center focused on innovation and development of dedicated equipment for bulk material processing industries. The environment is dynamic, with a small team and a significant opportunity to influence the growth and direction of the subsidiary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Overland Park, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $300000.00 - $350000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
