About the Opportunity

With extensive experience in partnering with HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical contractors, the client has a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, earning a reputation as a trusted partner in the construction industry.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a strong foundation in the construction industry. This role is crucial in supporting both sales and project management teams, with responsibilities including performing take-offs, creating detailed bills of materials, progress reporting, and contributing to overall project success.

What Success Looks Like

• Assist in performing take-offs for pipework, ductwork, and fire protection systems.
• Support in conducting electrical cable containment and seismic bracing take-offs.
• Aid in estimating building services support for MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and fire protection trades.
• Help create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for various projects.
• Support the sales team with basic data entry, documentation, and recording of call notes.
• Assist in compiling progress reports and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions and project-related activities.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of quantity surveying outputs.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of solid experience in Quantity Surveying, estimating, or a related field.
• Exposure to or basic understanding of construction or engineering projects, preferably in MEP sectors.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with Planswift, Revit, AutoCAD, or Navisworks is preferred but not required (training can be provided).
• Experience with seismic bracing.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the QS field.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Experience in handling multiple projects.
• Exposure to global teams is a plus.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience or coursework involving ASANA, Bluebeam, Procore, Aconex, or SolidWorks.
• Exposure to collaborative environments and working across multiple teams or disciplines.
