We need an English-fluent Mid Level Cloud / DevOps (SRE) Engineer , based in Latin America, available to work remotely. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS. Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application delivery. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Docker. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions. Define and improve system health metrics, dashboards, and alerts. Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues. Support incident response and root-cause analysis for reliability issues. Implement security hardening and follow cloud infrastructure security best practices. Integrate code quality and security checks into development and deployment workflows, including SonarQube. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve engineering efficiency. Collaborate with software engineers, Tech Leads, and Architects to improve application reliability and deployment processes. Help establish and maintain best practices around infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and operational readiness. Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks across the development and production environments. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or a related role. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure. Strong experience with Docker and containerized applications. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, logging, and system health metrics. Familiarity with security hardening and cloud security best practices. Experience with SonarQube or similar code quality/security tools. Experience using AI tools. Highly autonomous and self-sufficient in their processes Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with distributed engineering teams. Strong English communication skills. It's a plus: Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms. Experience with Terraform. Familiarity with AWS networking, IAM, and security services. Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch. Experience with incident management and post-incident reviews. Experience implementing SRE practices such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Previous experience supporting distributed or nearshore engineering teams. Compensation: The salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,200 - $4,800 per month, depending on seniority and skillset. This is a 40 hours per week. This position is for a full time contract, through a payroll platform. The talent will work remotely allocated at our client.
