About the Position

We are seeking an SAP BTP CAP + SAP UI5 Developer with experience developing SAP UI5 and Fiori applications, custom solutions, and extensions for standard applications.

The professional will work with SAP Business Technology Platform and the Cloud Application Programming Model using Node.js and Core Data Services. The role also involves frontend technologies, integration protocols, portal applications, and collaboration with business users to identify opportunities for process improvement.

The position requires experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model, including the management, leadership, or coordination of distributed resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori applications.
• Develop applications using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model on SAP BTP.
• Create custom developments and extensions for standard SAP applications.
• Develop solutions using Node.js and Core Data Services.
• Work with HTML5, REST, and OData protocols.
• Develop and maintain frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and XML.
• Support application compatibility across multiple browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.
• Work with portal applications, standards, and content management systems.
• Collaborate with business users to identify business processes that offer opportunities for improved efficiency or competitiveness.
• Manage, lead, or coordinate onshore and offshore resources.

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 3 to 4 years of SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development experience using SAP Web IDE.
• Strong SAP UI5 development skills.
• Experience developing SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori applications.
• Experience with SAP BTP development.
• Experience developing CAP applications on SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model using Node.js.
• Knowledge of Core Data Services.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Strong JavaScript development skills.
• Experience with HTML5, REST, and OData protocols.
• Knowledge of portal applications, portal standards, and content management systems.
• Knowledge of AJAX, jQuery, and XML.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Experience providing JavaScript and CSS support for multiple browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.
• Knowledge of the macOS environment.
• Experience with custom developments and extensions for standard applications.
• Experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
• Experience managing, leading, or coordinating onshore and offshore resources.
