3D + 2D Storyboard Artist

Role Description The 3D + 2D Storyboard Artist is a part-time remote role focused on visual storytelling for digital marketing and media projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing clear and engaging storyboards that translate scripts, concepts, and marketing objectives into visual sequences. The role involves creating 2D and simple 3D boards, producing quick sketches and frames, refining composition and camera angles, and collaborating with creative and marketing teams to align visuals with campaign goals. The artist will also contribute to concept development, ensure consistency in style across assets, and prepare storyboard materials for animation and production teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Storyboarding skills with the ability to visualize narratives and plan shot sequences effectively.
• Candidates should possess 2D Animation and general Animation skills for translating boards into motion where needed.
• Candidates should possess Drawing and Concept Art skills to quickly explore ideas, characters, environments, and visual styles.
• Proficiency in relevant digital illustration and storyboard software (e.g., Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, or equivalent) is beneficial.
• Experience creating visual content for digital marketing, advertising, or media campaigns is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, the ability to accept and apply feedback, and reliability in meeting deadlines within a remote, part-time setup are important.
• A portfolio demonstrating storyboard, 2D/3D visualization, and concept work is required.
