Our client is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join their Supply Growth team, reporting to the Head of Product. You'll be part of the squad that builds and maintains the client's core systems, including the back-office tools and partner extranet that internal teams and partners rely on to run their operations. You'll work closely with Product, UX, Engineering and Analytics to define requirements, support discovery and deliver features that help partners manage their inventory. This role suits someone with a strong JavaScript/Node.js background who wants to move toward product, or a technical PM who's comfortable working in the codebase. You'll help improve retention and data quality across the client's back-office and extranet platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Help improve the back-office tools and extranet that power the client's platform
- Work with Product, UX and Engineering to improve the back-office and extranet platforms used by internal teams and partners
- Turn product requirements into clear technical specifications, and give input on API design, data models and implementation approaches
- Support engineering hands-on when needed, from prototyping and proofs of concept to debugging issues in JavaScript/Node.js services
- Support work that keeps services reliable, data high-quality and operations smooth for stakeholders
- Track how key services and features perform, document decisions and support continuous improvement
- Keep requirements clear, progress visible and communication sharp so the team can move fast and learn quickly
Required Skills and Experience
- Some experience in product or a related role (1+ year preferred)
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools. Cursor is key, and Claude Code experience is also valued
- Some experience with PHP is an added advantage
- Experience building or working with APIs (REST or GraphQL)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira
- Interest in UI/UX principles and the ability to give constructive feedback
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using tools like Google Analytics or Tableau (or eager to learn)
- Clear communication in written and spoken English
