We are hiring LLM – Engineering Experts for a short-term AI Evaluation, Engineering Simulation & Design project across:

Role: LLM – Engineering Expert

Experience: 10+ Years

Mode: Remote

Engagement: Contractor / Short-Term Contract

Start: Immediate

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Technical Qualification:

• 10+ years of hands-on engineering design/development experience
• Strong Python programming/scripting experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one engineering simulation, modelling, CAD, or computational engineering tool: ngspice | PySpice | OpenFOAM | FEniCSx | CalculiX | python-control | CadQuery | build123d | OpenModelica | Cantera | Gmsh
• Practical experience in engineering design, simulation, modelling, testing, validation, or optimization
• Experience with LLMs, AI coding agents, or AI-assisted engineering workflows
• Ability to work with complex engineering requirements, constraints, physical limitations, and optimization objectives
• Strong understanding of units, dimensional consistency, physical plausibility, boundary conditions, convergence, numerical methods, and simulation validation
• Ability to analyze AI-agent outputs and execution logs.

Educational Qualification:

Mandatory: Master’s degree or PhD in one of the following:

• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Aerospace Engineering
• Control Systems Engineering
• Systems Engineering
• Robotics Engineering

Preferred: PhD or advanced research experience in computational engineering, simulation, robotics, controls, optimization, or AI-assisted engineering.

Availability :

• Ability to work 40 hours/week with 4+ hours PST overlap
• Immediate availability for remote contract work

Others:

• Personal laptop/desktop and stable high-speed internet

What You’ll Work On:

• Design complex engineering problems for AI/LLM evaluation
• Create simulation-based tasks with multiple constraints and optimization objectives
• Configure and validate engineering simulation environments
• Analyze AI coding-agent outputs, execution logs, and trajectories
• Identify reasoning, coding, tool-use, numerical, and engineering failures
• Develop reference solutions, automated tests, and autograders
• Validate physical plausibility, units, boundary conditions, convergence, and simulation results
• Calibrate benchmark difficulty based on AI model performance
