BDR & Sales Operations Lead

Position: BDR & Sales Operations Lead

Type: Full-Time Remote Contractor (40 hours/week)

Schedule: US Eastern Standard Time (EST) Alignment | Monday - Friday

About The Company

We create unique, interactive experiences designed to drive attendance for corporate events, sales demos, and client engagement initiatives.

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, highly articulate BDR & Sales Operations Lead to serve as the operational and outbound sales engine for our founder/CEO.

In this dual-capability role, you will combine multi-channel B2B outbound prospecting (Apollo, HubSpot, Instantly, LinkedIn) with high-level sales operations support. You will build targeted prospect lists based on our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), run outbound campaigns, qualify leads, and book introductory meetings for our CEO. Once calls take place, you will own the back-end follow-up—reviewing call recordings, drafting custom proposals, updating CRM hygiene, and maintaining pipeline accountability so leadership can focus strictly on discovery and closing.

We are a close-knit team of 3-4 people. We need an outgoing, confident communicator with great energy who takes ownership of results, possesses meticulous attention to detail, and brings a proven track record of driving qualified meeting attendance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Prospecting & Appointment Setting
  • ICP List Building: Conduct deep prospect research and build clean lists of mid-market and enterprise decision-makers using Apollo, HubSpot, and data-enrichment tools.
  • Multi-Channel Outbound: Run proactive outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn sequences, and phone outreach using tools like Instantly, HubSpot, and Apollo.
  • Lead Qualification & Booking: Engage inbound and outbound replies, qualify prospects against our ICP, manage calendar scheduling, send reminders, and handle rescheduling to ensure zero drop-off in meeting attendance.
  • Sales Operations & Proposal Management
  • Pre-Call Briefs: Compile pre-call intelligence briefs detailing prospect backgrounds, company sizes, and relevant context prior to founder discovery calls.
  • Post-Call Execution: Review recorded sales calls to craft tailored follow-up email drafts, build client proposals, update CRM fields, and track next-step deliverables.
  • HubSpot Hygiene: Maintain meticulous database cleanliness across contact records, pipelines, deal stages, and campaign activity.
  • Team Integration & Continuous Optimization
  • Campaign Performance Analysis: Track and report key outbound metrics (open rates, reply rates, meetings booked, show-up rates) and adjust outreach messaging to optimize yield.
  • Collaborative Energy: Actively participate in daily/weekly team syncs, bringing an upbeat, collaborative personality to our lean team environment.

Required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven B2B Outbound Experience: 3+ years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or Sales Operations Specialist running multi-channel outbound campaigns targeting mid-market or enterprise buyers.
  • Tech Stack Mastery: Direct, hands-on experience using HubSpot CRM, Apollo.io, Instantly (or similar cold email sequencers), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Demonstrated Campaign Results: Ability to speak clearly to past campaign structures, channel strategies, conversion metrics, and qualified meeting numbers generated.
  • Communication & Personality: Exceptional written and spoken English fluency. Outgoing, confident, and highly articulate with high emotional intelligence.
  • Meticulous Detail: Obsessive focus on data accuracy, professional correspondence formatting, and written polish.
  • Schedule Alignment: Full availability to work US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours in a dedicated, quiet home office setup.

Preferred (Big Pluses)

  • Prior experience supporting founders or executive sales leaders directly in a lean startup setting.
  • Background in corporate events, marketing services, or experiential sales enablement.
