Role Description The Academic Advisor will provide comprehensive guidance to students exploring international education pathways, including academic and athletic admission options. This full-time role involves conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, recommending suitable programs, and supporting the preparation of applications and required documentation. The advisor will collaborate with students to develop academic and extracurricular plans, offer insights on gap year opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate application submissions. The position is hybrid, based in the Greater Kolkata Area, with a combination of in-person meetings and work-from-home responsibilities, including virtual counseling, follow-ups, and ongoing student support.
Qualifications

• Strong student counseling and academic advising skills, with the ability to guide learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with students, families, and institutional partners.
• Experience in career counseling and education guidance, particularly related to international studies and program selection.
• Knowledge of global higher education systems and admission processes for UG, PG, Masters, medical, diploma, and certificate programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in handling multiple student applications.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the Greater Kolkata Area, maintaining professionalism in both in-person and remote settings.
• Prior experience in study abroad consulting, university admissions, or academic advising is highly beneficial.
