Position Summary

Plays an integral part in guiding Olin students through their educational journey. The Academic Advisor advises students, recruits students and promotes student success, retention and progression to graduation.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides in-depth advising services promoting graduate student success, retention, and degree completion. Advises graduate students on programs, curriculum, graduate education, and university policies, processes, and procedures
  • Assesses the holistic needs of students, provides support, and refers to appropriate campus partners. Responds to communication in a timely manner. Works closely with other University partners in the best interest of our students.
  • Organizes and maintains files, coordinates incoming and outgoing communications. Maintains files for students.
  • Plans student engagement opportunities and events both on and off-campus for students.
  • Represents the department at orientation, commencement and other events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$49,700.00 - $82,100.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
