Account Executive

About the Role This Account Executive role sits at the heart of a fast-growing go-to-market team at an early-stage B2B marketplace startup. You'll own the full sales cycle and play a defining role in expanding the company's footprint with public-sector and commercial customers in the specialized vehicles and equipment space. What You'll Do Own end-to-end sales cycles — from sourcing and discovery through to close — for new logo acquisition. Balance a roughly 50/50 inbound and outbound motion, building pipeline while converting warm opportunities. Travel regularly to meet customers in person, including fire chiefs, fleet managers, and municipal procurement stakeholders. Represent the company at industry conferences and customer-facing events. Maintain a disciplined, organized book of business using CRM tools. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in a full-cycle Account Executive role, including outbound prospecting, qualification, and closing. Proven track record building and managing customer relationships through direct, in-person engagement. Experience balancing inbound and outbound sales motions simultaneously. Hands-on CRM proficiency for pipeline and account management. Prior experience at an early-stage, venture-backed startup. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to meet customers. Experience selling to government or public-sector organizations (e.g., municipalities, emergency services) is a strong plus. Based in or willing to work from the Midwest, US South, West Coast, or Southeast is preferred. No visa sponsorship available — must be authorized to work in the US. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $93,000 – $118,000 USD annually. No visa sponsorship is available for this role. Location Fully remote (United States).
