Our client is a growing European technology company specializing in B2B SaaS and MarTech solutions, with approximately 450 employees across several European countries.

The company provides a portfolio of digital marketing and customer engagement solutions serving both SME and enterprise customers.

As part of its continued expansion in Germany, the company is transforming its sales organization from a product-focused structure into a more customer-oriented, multi-product sales model.

To support this expansion, we are looking for an experienced Account Executive DACH who will drive new business acquisition, manage the sales process from qualification through closing, develop strong customer relationships, and identify the most suitable solutions across the company's product portfolio.

The Role

As an Account Executive DACH, you will be responsible for converting qualified opportunities into new customers and driving new-business growth across the German and wider DACH market.

You will manage the full commercial journey from lead qualification through solution consultation, product demonstration, negotiation, and closing. The role is designed for someone who enjoys active deal ownership and can translate customer challenges into relevant SaaS solutions.

As the business moves toward a multi-product model, you will increasingly take a customer-oriented approach, identifying the most appropriate solutions across the wider portfolio rather than focusing on a single product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the sales journey from lead qualification through negotiation and closing.
  • Identify target companies and develop tailored acquisition strategies.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations, identify customer pain points, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations adapted to different industries and customer needs.
  • Work closely with SDRs, Marketing, and Customer Success to convert leads and improve conversion rates.
  • Develop commercial opportunities through upselling and cross-selling where relevant.
  • Build early customer success stories and market references.
  • Structure and share customer and market feedback with Product and Marketing teams.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasts, conversion rates, and sales activity using data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a commercially strong B2B sales professional who is comfortable managing complex sales conversations, building relationships, and taking ownership of revenue opportunities.

  • 3 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, ideally as an Account Executive, Senior Sales professional, or in a comparable role.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, MarTech, or a comparable environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales opportunities and achieve commercial results.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable tools.
  • Good understanding of sales metrics, pipeline management, forecasting, and conversion rates.
  • Strong digital affinity and the ability to explain technical or complex solutions in a clear way.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Strong understanding of the German market; broader DACH experience is an advantage.
  • Initial leadership experience or potential to develop toward a future Sales Manager role is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment from Berlin or Chemnitz.
  • Fluent German and fluent English

Note: The requirements should not be considered an absolute checklist. Strong candidates whose experience differs slightly from the preferred profile may still be considered based on their leadership capabilities, commercial mindset, and overall suitability for the role.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working model: 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remote.
  • 30 working days of annual leave.
  • EUR 100 monthly flexible benefits budget.
  • EUR 1,000 annual personal and professional development budget.
  • Employer contribution toward a company pension scheme.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Choice of working equipment and operating system.
  • Up to 30 days of workation per year, subject to company conditions.
  • One additional paid day per year for social engagement.
  • Modern office environment with snacks and drinks.
  • Regular team events.
  • Opportunities to connect and collaborate with colleagues across European offices.

Recruitment Process

Following the initial SGS screening and candidate assessment, selected candidates will proceed through the client's recruitment process:

  1. Introductory Interview - 30-minute video call with the Senior HR Manager.
  2. Manager Interview - approximately 60-minute video interview with the direct manager.
