Job Description
A. Business Development & Customer Acquisition
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities among SMEs, corporate organizations,
institutions, event organizers, agencies and other potential customers.
● Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through referrals, networking, direct
outreach, social media and other relevant channels.
● Research target organizations, identify decision-makers and initiate professional sales
conversations.
● Promote the company’s printing, branding and corporate identity services to prospective
customers.
● Develop relationships with corporate and institutional clients to generate recurring and
project-based business.
B. Client Engagement & Needs Assessment
● Engage prospective and existing customers to understand their business objectives,
branding needs, project requirements, timelines and budgets.
● Recommend relevant printing, promotional and branding solutions based on customer
requirements.
● Explain service options, production considerations, pricing and delivery expectations
clearly.
● Maintain consistent communication throughout the customer’s buying journey.
● Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries, requests and customer concerns.
C. Sales Conversion & Account Management
● Convert qualified enquiries and prospects into confirmed orders and paying customers.
● Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals and commercial offers in coordination
with relevant internal teams.
● Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved company guidelines.
● Maintain relationships with existing accounts, identify additional needs and encourage
repeat purchases.
● Monitor client satisfaction and address routine concerns, escalating production or
delivery issues where necessary.
● Develop opportunities for long-term accounts, repeat orders and referrals.
D. Sales Pipeline & Lead Follow-Up
● Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of prospects, enquiries, quotations,
negotiations and confirmed orders.
● Follow up consistently with prospective customers to improve conversion rates and
prevent viable opportunities from being lost.
● Track each opportunity through the sales process, from initial contact to order
confirmation and post-sale follow-up.
● Prioritize prospects based on business potential, urgency, customer requirements and
likelihood of conversion.
● Maintain an organized customer database and document all relevant interactions.
E. Quotations, Orders & Internal Coordination
● Work with the relevant teams to obtain accurate pricing, specifications, production
timelines and delivery information.
● Ensure customer requirements are properly documented and communicated before an
order is confirmed.
● Coordinate with design, production, operations and finance teams to support smooth
order execution.
● Keep customers informed about order progress, approved changes and expected
delivery timelines.
● Confirm that customer expectations and commercial commitments are aligned with the
company’s approved capabilities and processes.
F. Market Research & Business Opportunities
● Monitor the market for organizations, events and businesses with potential printing,
promotional and branding requirements.
● Identify customer segments, seasonal opportunities and relevant industry developments.
● Monitor competitor offerings, market pricing and customer preferences.
● Share market intelligence and customer feedback with the Sales & Marketing Manager.
● Recommend practical approaches for reaching new customer segments and improving
sales opportunities.
G. Sales Reporting & Target Achievement
● Work toward agreed monthly and quarterly sales, customer acquisition and revenue
targets.
● Submit regular reports on prospecting activities, leads generated, meetings, quotations,
conversions and revenue.
● Track follow-up activities and identify obstacles affecting sales progress.
● Provide accurate information to support sales forecasting and management decisions.
● Take ownership of assigned accounts, sales opportunities and agreed performance
objectives.
H. Professional Representation & Accountability
● Represent Effloresce Nigeria Limited professionally in customer meetings, presentations,
networking activities and business engagements.
● Maintain confidentiality of customer information, pricing and company records.
● Follow approved sales processes, pricing policies and commercial procedures.
● Avoid making unauthorized commitments regarding pricing, specifications, production or
delivery.
● Demonstrate integrity, accountability and a customer-focused approach in all business
dealings.
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Mass
Communication or a related discipline.
● Proposed 2–5 years of relevant experience in account management, B2B sales,
business development, customer acquisition or a related commercial role.
● Experience prospecting for customers, managing sales pipelines, preparing quotations
and closing sales.
● Experience working with corporate clients, SMEs or institutional customers is an
advantage.
● Experience in printing, branding, advertising, promotional products, creative services or
related industries is an advantage.
● Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, understand customer needs and
identify opportunities for repeat business.
● Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
● Ability to organize multiple client accounts, enquiries and deadlines effectively.
