Paperbox is the mail-to-decision engine for insurance claims, underwriting and policy admin.

We turn inbound documents and emails into accurate, auditable decisions, faster. The result: lower cost, better customer experience and simpler compliance.

Paperbox serves 150+ insurers, brokers and claims organisations across Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK, and has grown past €2M ARR while staying capital-efficient.

In 2026 we joined forces with Adlib, a US document intelligence group with 20+ years of experience in regulated industries, backed by Diversis Capital. Same team, same product, same Ghent roots, now with the reach, resources and enterprise relationships of an international software group.

Our next chapter is international growth in the Netherlands, the UK and the US. We are expanding our sales team to make that happen, and we are looking for hunters who want to open those doors with us.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 👀

As an Account Executive at Paperbox, you play a key role in our growth in the Netherlands. You own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and engaging potential customers, to running demos, shaping business cases and closing deals. You are the face of Paperbox for Dutch insurers, brokers and claims organisations, showing how Paperbox turns their mailroom into fast, auditable decisions.

You work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product and our Adlib colleagues to expand our Dutch footprint and build strong, long-term customer relationships. This is a full-time role with flexibility for remote work and regular travel across the Netherlands.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 📋

𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 & 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, business cases, negotiations and closing

- Execute our go-to-market strategy for Dutch insurers and brokers

- Build a strong pipeline and keep accurate forecasts in HubSpot

- Target innovators and early adopters to create market momentum

- Tailor our value proposition to Dutch market needs and regulatory context

𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

- Run compelling discovery meetings using value-based selling frameworks

- Define clear success criteria and ROI together with prospects

- Manage complex buying cycles across IT, compliance and procurement

- Work with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term adoption

𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

- Partner with Marketing on campaigns, events and thought-leadership content

- Share market insights with Product to help shape our roadmap

- Co-sell with Adlib and our technology partners where it strengthens a deal

- Represent Paperbox at industry events and networking moments in the Netherlands

𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁-𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀

- A strong hunter mentality: you love prospecting and opening new doors

- A proven track record of hitting and exceeding quota

- Experience running consultative, value-based sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

- Fluent Dutch and English, spoken and written

- CRM discipline and data-driven forecasting

- An entrepreneurial, self-starting attitude and a team-player mindset

- Willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands

𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀

- Experience in insurance or financial services

- B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales experience

- HubSpot experience

- French (🥖)

- A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

- 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁, 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁: 150+ customers as references, and a Dutch market where most mailrooms are still manual
