🚀 Account Manager, Polymers | Benelux

Are you a commercially driven sales professional with a strong background in polymers, plastics or specialty chemicals?

I’m working with a global leader in industrial minerals and specialty materials on a newly created Account Manager position covering the Benelux polymers market.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the polymers distribution world and wants genuine ownership of their market, customers and growth strategy.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and growing a portfolio of customers across plastics, compounds, masterbatches, PVC pipes and PVC window profiles
• Identifying and winning new customers, applications and opportunities within the polymers market
• Taking full ownership of your territory, from pricing and planning through to pipeline and closing
• Building long-term customer relationships and acting as a technical-commercial partner
• Developing and growing a new area of the business across Belgium and the Netherlands

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ commercial experience within polymers, plastics or specialty chemicals
• Experience within distribution is highly desirable. Backgrounds with Safic-Alcan, Univar, IMCD, Brenntag or similar businesses would be particularly relevant
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
• Fluent Dutch and English. French would be a strong advantage
• A genuine hunter mentality with the drive to win new business
• Someone who enjoys having ownership of the full sales cycle
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the Benelux
