Position Summary
JRP is seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary strategic relationship and project-management resource for one of JRP’s key national customers. This role will work closely with the customer, JRP leadership, Operations, and other internal teams to strengthen the partnership, support ongoing operations, and identify opportunities to expand services and grow the account.
This is a strategic, proactive account-management role—not a reactive customer-service position. The Account Manager will learn the customer’s business, identify opportunities, educate the customer on JRP’s capabilities, and develop solutions that support both customer needs and profitable growth. The role combines account management, project coordination, customer relationship development, reporting, proposal support, and consultative sales responsibilities.
This is a remote opportunity; however, candidates must be based within commuting distance of Dallas, Texas, or be willing and able to travel to the Dallas area as needed for customer meetings and business requirements.

Compensation
$70,000–$80,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary account and project-management contact for a key national customer, supporting the relationship and coordinating with internal JRP teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and identify additional stakeholders and decision-makers within the account.
- Proactively identify expansion and growth opportunities based on customer needs, locations, and business objectives.
- Educate the customer on JRP’s services, capabilities, technology, and additional solutions that may support their operations.
- Develop strategic, consultative solutions that support customer needs while identifying opportunities to improve gross margin and account value.
- Coordinate with JRP Operations, Procurement, IT, leadership, and other departments to ensure customer needs and projects are executed successfully.
- Support proposals, RFPs, RFQs, RFTs, ITBs, and other customer opportunities by researching requirements and coordinating responsive solutions.
- Analyze customer requirements and develop creative strategies and recommendations that align with customer needs and JRP capabilities.
- Oversee the onboarding of new locations and accounts and ensure account information remains accurate across applicable systems.
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly customer reporting, including specialized reports and analysis as requested.
- Monitor account activity, customer needs, and market conditions to identify areas for improvement, expansion, and increased value.
- Manage follow-up, deadlines, and commitments to ensure projects and customer requests are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain proactive communication with the customer and provide ongoing education and support related to JRP’s services.
- Work closely with JRP leadership and internal teams on strategic initiatives, customer projects, and special assignments.
- Perform other account-management, project-management, and administrative duties as needed to support the customer relationship and JRP’s business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales/Professional Sales, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered
- Customer service, account management, project management, sales, procurement, or related experience preferred.
- Experience with contract administration, negotiations, and/or proposal preparation preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information, think critically, and develop creative solutions.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, systems, and customer requirements.
- Strong follow-through and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate work with minimal supervision.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and take a consultative approach to customer needs.
