Account Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for a fast-growing US company, owning accounts receivable, financial reporting, and the bookkeeping team. This role suits senior accounting professionals who want real ownership of a department and a long-term remote role with a US business.

Key Responsibilities

• Own accounts receivable end to end: aging, follow-ups, escalations, and collection of outstanding balances
• Partner with sales and operations leaders so balances are collected on time and nothing slips
• Use sound judgment on escalations, including larger balances in the $10k–$20k+ range
• Manage and develop the existing bookkeeping team
• Build and tighten accounting processes, such as vendor payment cadence and transaction classification, so reporting stays clean
• Tie financial reporting to operations and present clear, actionable reports to leadership

Candidate Profile

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on ownership of AR and collections
• Proven experience managing or supervising bookkeepers or junior accountants
• Proficient with QuickBooks and familiar with US accounting practices
• Confident presenting financial reports and communicating with non-finance leaders
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent, and experience with project-based billing, are strong pluses
