Optus is an Australian telecommunications company, delivering more than 11 million services to our customers every day across mobile, broadband and digital solutions.

Drive growth across a portfolio of Enterprise customers in Queensland, managing existing relationships while securing new business opportunities. Working closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute strategic account plans, deliver complex technology solutions, and grow customer investment in Optus. Success will be measured through revenue growth, profitability, new business acquisition, customer satisfaction, and increased market share within your territory.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new mobile, voice, data, and ICT sales opportunities to achieve and exceed revenue, order, and customer experience targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline valued at 3 to 5 times annual targets through proactive business development activities.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, including senior executives, to grow customer engagement and share of wallet.
  • Create and execute territory, account, and opportunity plans that identify growth opportunities and deliver long-term customer value.
  • Collaborate with solution specialists and cross-functional teams to design, position, and close complex technology solutions.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline reporting, and CRM records while ensuring exceptional customer outcomes throughout the sales lifecycle. Provide leadership, mentoring and stakeholder coordination across delivery teams, suppliers and partners, fostering collaboration, capability development and successful customer outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Proven success in business-to-business sales within corporate or enterprise environments, with a strong track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
  • Experience building and managing executive-level relationships, with the confidence to engage and influence CIOs, CFOs, CEOs, and other senior stakeholders.
  • A consultative sales approach, with the ability to identify customer challenges and deliver tailored technology and business solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills, enabling you to uncover opportunities, develop business cases, and drive long-term account growth.
  • Experience developing and executing account plans, opportunity strategies, and sales pipelines to achieve sustainable business outcomes.
  • Strong experience managing multifaceted systems, governance requirements and cross-functional workflows to deliver results efficiently and compliantly.
  • Relevant experience across sales, customer service, technical, marketing, or finance functions, with tertiary business qualifications viewed favourably.

The good stuff….

  • Competitive remuneration and employee discounts. Make life easier (and more affordable) with $80 monthly credit and 25% off Optus products and unique shopping discounts with our retail partners.
  • Flexible working arrangements with opportunities to work three days in the office, two days remote or home.
  • Competitive leave policies, including additional 'Connected’ days to focus on culture, family, health, community, or whatever’s important to you.
  • We support growing families with inclusive, carer-neutral paid Parental Leave of up to 16 weeks.
  • Direct your own development and build future-ready skills with Optus U’s industry-focused micro-credentials, developed with La Trobe and Macquarie Universities.
  • Build meaningful connections through employee-led networks and diversity initiatives including Culture Connect, Elevate Women, Disability Network and Express Yourself (LGBTQIA+).
  • Put your wellbeing first with free access to counselling and support services, 24/7 — in-person, by phone, SMS, or video.
