Transaction Review & Disbursement Specialist Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Employment Type: Contract (6 Months) Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour About the Opportunity A growing financial services organization is seeking detail-oriented professionals to support its Transaction Review and Disbursement team. Key Responsibilities Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness before funds are released Verify payment requests including checks, EFTs, ACH transactions, and wire transfers Review documentation for required signatures, approvals, and supporting information Validate banking information and identify discrepancies or missing details Complete reporting and transaction reviews within established deadlines Process and review disbursement documentation Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely payment processing Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple priorities and tight turnaround times Support daily payment and disbursement operations Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of professional work experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment Strong organizational and time management skills Demonstrated work ethic and reliability Excellent communication and customer service mindset Preferred Backgrounds Experience in any of the following environments is highly valued: Financial services Banking Payment processing Treasury operations Retail banking Customer service Retail operations Restaurant or hospitality environments with fast-paced workloads What Makes Someone Successful in This Role? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
