As an Account Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and growing client relationships by delivering exceptional service, managing customer accounts, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales Account Executives and cross-functional teams to support host services, coordinate event execution, and drive customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for retaining existing accounts, identifying opportunities to expand business through renewals and premium offerings, and building long-term partnerships with customers. Through your strong communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills, you will contribute to customer loyalty, revenue growth, and overall business success. This is a full-time hourly remote role. Position Summary For high-value accounts, serve as an operational touch point who partners with respective Sales Account Executive colleagues to focus on providing quality host services and event management ensuring host satisfaction with Everest products and services. For lower-value accounts, serve as a sole point of contact who retains current accounts by meeting and exceeding customer needs through building strong relationships and delivering quality service. Drive sales expectations and results through the selling of renewal businesses and premium packages within assigned sales territory. Directly responsible for maintaining long-term relationships with customers, the preservation of our customer base and upselling into existing customer accounts. Key Responsibilities Host services and event management for high-value accounts: Responsible for account booking management by partnering with Sales Account Executives and Business Development Representatives to ensure accurate data input in systems like Salesforce and FOW (Field Operations Workbench) Collaborate with host contact to verify complete event details prior to Picture Day, complete any relevant administrative forms and system entries to enable service scheduling, sales materials, and product ordering Coordinate with host contacts to schedule Picture Day, input scheduling info in Salesforce and master calendar, provides sales staff and/or customers with calendar (picture date) details Contact accounts to secure student data required for a successful Picture Day Contact accounts to confirm details of upcoming scheduled photography events, responsible for the management of all Picture Day changes and related tasks Support hosts with any necessary pre-Picture Day preparation, including creating marketing collateral for Prestige business and shipping the Picture Day reminders to accounts Respond to and resolve basic account calls and/or escalates non-technical issues for all accounts. Collaborate with area leaders to obtain post service survey results, share timely feedback to the appropriate sales resource to ensure account satisfaction Resolve basic account queries, including investigating and resolving lab delays, working with account to resolve photography issues, and providing technical support for the Everest tools, including Everest Portal, Parent Notify, Prestige Yearbook Choice (PYC) and Prestige Appointment Scheduling (PAS) Maintain confidentiality of school/student related information Relationship management and host services for lower-value accounts: Provide exceptional customer service support to all lower-value accounts within assigned territory by building and managing long-term relationships and maintaining regularly scheduled service calls Complete accurate sales agreements for orders, including pricing and packaging details in accordance with corporate guidelines Maintain and stay current with product, service, and pricing knowledge; acts as the primary point of contact for the account and advocates for Everest products, programs and services to key decision-makers and host working team Respond to accounts within a timely manner in accordance with corporate standard Schedule periodic touchpoints with decision-makers to ensure customer satisfaction in order to retain their business. Resolve basic account queries, including investigating and resolving lab delays, working with account to resolve Class Pictures issues, and providing technical support for the Everest tools, including Everest Portal, Parent Notify, Prestige Yearbook Choice (PYC) and Prestige Appointment Scheduling (PAS). Maintains confidentiality of school/student related information. Manages and solves customer conflict General Represents Everest in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all Company and area policies and displays confidence and professionalism even during times of stress and in difficult situations. Uses safe work habits including proper lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, twisting and driving techniques and adheres to all safety rules and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent and relevant post-secondary coursework/formal customer service training. 3-5 years of customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including using Google platform and Microsoft Office-Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Superior phone and customer service skills/etiquette. Excellent verbal, written, listening and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to deal patiently with problems and complaints and to remain courteous when faced with difficult or escalated customers. CRM proficiency: Everest salespeople run their business on Salesforce.com so we highly value your experience in using CRM to document all customer touchpoints and any customer requirements / preferences collected Ability to handle confidential information.
