Title: Account Specialist, Packaging (Luxury Beauty)
Reports to: COO
Office Location: Woodbury, Long Island (4-5 days a week in Office)

About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, client-facing Account Specialist to join a growing luxury beauty packaging agency. This role is ideal for someone who is equal parts relationship-builder and problem-solver, with a strong interest in both the creative and technical sides of packaging. This individual will play a critical role in supporting client relationships, managing packaging development projects, and eventually owning accounts end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist management with direct customer contact and project development.
  • Coordinate internally with design, project management, estimating and production to move projects through development
  • Train to prepare and send quotes and complex RFQ’s; Review and confirm PO’s
  • Opportunity to contribute on strategy and business-aspects
  • Intake new briefs and drive the project from development to completion
  • Learn and assist with domestic production, including issuing Vendor RFQ’s, estimating and production.
  • Assist in the preparation and represent the company at trade shows. This includes helping administrative tasks, set-up/breakdown, and speaking with new and existing clients to assist in developing business.
  • Manage annual Holiday Gift administration, including organizing the recipient list and distribution.
  • Assist in coordinating office events, including company volunteer day. Opportunity to impact the NY company culture.
  • Must be willing to travel, including to Asia for ongoing training, and attend meetings that are necessary to complete the work

Qualifications:
  • Experience in account management, project management, or client services, ideally within beauty, packaging, printing or a related industry
  • Strong interest in (or experience with) printing
  • Ability to understand and communicate both creative and technical concepts
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - confident in client-facing settings
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 annually based on experience.
