About the Role JuliaHub is hiring a talented senior accountant to join our vibrant team. The role is based in India (Bangalore) and has a dynamic scope of working with geographies within India, US and Europe. The role has multiple dimensions which include accounting matters across multiple geographies. Education Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field Experience Should have 3-5 years of experience in accounting Expertise Required Should have good working experience of accounting software like Tally Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations Manage all accounting transactions Bank Account reconciliation Maintaining daily expense records, etc Good Knowledge in GST Filing, TDS, PT, PF Coordination with Auditor's office Monthly bill payments Prepare budget forecasts Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments Compute taxes and prepare tax returns Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary Comply with financial policies and regulations Record all transactions to the ledger in Quickbooks Online and tally Reconcile general ledger, journal entries, and bank statements Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Compare and analyze annual budgets and cash flow forecasts with actual result Knowledge of Quickbooks online software considered a plus Additional Skills Required Excellent communication and presentation skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to meet deadlines Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment Strong quantitative and writing skills
