Accountant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across core accounting processes. Reporting to the Senior Finance Operations Manager, this role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across multiple areas of finance, contribute to process improvements, and play an active role in strengthening financial controls within a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring finance-related mailboxes and responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner.
• Posting supplier, customer, and intercompany invoices accurately and within deadlines.
• Assisting in the preparation and execution of payment runs in line with internal controls.
• Performing bank postings and supporting regular bank reconciliations.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Preparing and reviewing accruals and prepayments reconciliations.
• Maintaining and reconciling the Fixed Asset / Intangible Asset Registers.
• Ensuring proper documentation and audit trails are maintained.
• PSP Reconciliations.
• Supporting internal and external audits by preparing requested schedules and documentation.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist with any other ad-hoc tasks as necessary.

Requirements

• Late-stages of ACCA Qualifications / Fully-Qualified Accountant.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
• Good analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, structured, well organised and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience in igaming.
