Role Description The Accountant will support JULIA & RANA SOLICITORS by managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This Part-time, hybrid role is based in Lahore, with the option for some work from home as business needs allow. Key responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, reconciling client accounts, processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with budgeting and financial forecasting. The Accountant will prepare periodic financial statements. The role also involves maintaining organized financial records, supporting audits, and improving financial processes and controls within the firm.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including use of spreadsheets, formulas, and basic reporting tools.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organisational skills for maintaining financial records and documentation.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to a hybrid work setting in Lahore.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a law firm or other professional services organisation is beneficial.
