Position Overview
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to support general accounting and financial record keeping across multiple global entities. The role will maintain accurate books, records and charts of accounts, support financial reporting activities, and work closely with internal stakeholders including HR, IT and Operations. Strong accounting knowledge, Excel skills, English communication and attention to detail are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the financial records of various entities within the Company’s global ownership structure.
- Perform general accounting activities and maintain accurate books and records.
- Maintain and support the chart of accounts for corporate entities.
- Support the Company’s financial requirements through accurate and timely accounting activities.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including HR, IT and Operations.
- Review and analyse financial information as required.
- Support financial reporting and consolidation activities.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
- Support other general accounting activities and projects as required.
Education and Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in General Accounting; Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience alone is not sufficient.
- Good accounting knowledge, including a strong understanding of intermediate and advanced accounting principles.
- Good to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good command of English.
- Good understanding of consolidation and reporting applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
