About the role
We are looking for an Accountant to support daily accounting operations, closing activities, and compliance with a growing SpaceTech company. You will maintain accurate financial records and support fixed assets, inventory, and financial documentation processes.

About the role
We are looking for an Accountant to support daily accounting operations, closing activities, and compliance with a growing SpaceTech company. You will maintain accurate financial records and support fixed assets, inventory, and financial documentation processes.
Your responsibilities:
- Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Verify accounting documents and supporting evidence.
- Prepare account reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accounting documentation and ensure compliance with accounting procedures and policies.
- Maintain the fixed assets register and support depreciation and capitalization processes.
- Verify inventory and warehouse documentation and reconcile inventory balances.
- Support inventory counts, stock verification activities, and discrepancy investigations.
- Support accounting and reporting activities related to grants and subsidized projects.
- Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and public institutions, while contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or technology environment.
- Practical knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
- Working knowledge of VAT regulations.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong Excel skills.
- English at a minimum B1 level.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Experience in fixed assets accounting.
- Experience in inventory or warehouse accounting.
- Experience supporting grants or subsidized projects.

- Hybrid work model with predominantly remote work and occasional visits in our offices (main office in Bydgoszcz, secondary in Zielonka near Bydgoszcz).
- Compensation: PLN 8,000-11,000 gross/month (UoP), depending on experience and skills.
