Role Description This full-time Accountant role is based in Ndola and follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. The role involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring expenses, and supporting tax and regulatory compliance. The Accountant will also help streamline financial processes, prepare management reports, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial information for decision-making.

Qualifications
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including managing ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic audit procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification or progress toward one is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role; experience in safety, construction, or service-based industries is beneficial.
