Accountant - Arabic Speaker

We are seeking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Accountant - Arabic Speaker. The accountant will be responsible for daily accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring, while ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with UAE and KSA tax regulations, and timely support to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including bank accounts, cash, payment cards, and electronic payment gateways.
• Process supplier payments, financial transfers, and other financial obligations within established deadlines.
• Monitor daily cash flow and perform regular bank, customer, supplier, and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate records and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconcile revenue against sales records, invoices, and received payments.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing activities, ensuring accurate and complete accounting records.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.
• Assist in annual budgeting, financial planning, and monitoring expenses against approved budgets.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal company policies.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and collaborate with management and internal teams to support financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail.

What we are looking for

• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions.
• UAE & KSA Taxation: Good understanding of VAT and applicable tax regulations.
• Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare financial statements and monthly reports.
• Reconciliation: Experience in bank, supplier, customer, and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in formulas, calculations, and financial reporting.
• Accounting Software: Experience with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting systems.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial records and documentation.
• Time Management: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
