Accounting Analyst

We’re hiring an Accounting Analyst to manage daily ledger activity, large-scale account reconciliations, and routine financial entries across our digital platforms.

If your background is in high volume, fast-paced accounting operations—such as corporate AP/AR, payment processing, or healthcare revenue billing, treasury or banking —and you're the person who always finds a way to make spreadsheets work faster, you'll be a great fit. We are looking for strong core accounting skills, comfort with business software, and a knack for finding operational efficiencies. We will teach you the legal compliance rules on the job.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage Ledger Activity: Review, balance, and post large volumes of routine transactions, incoming receipts, and disbursements with a high degree of precision.

• Work Across Platforms: Navigate simultaneously across accounting software, online banking portals, and messaging apps to complete daily balance checks and account reviews.

• Refine Routine Tasks: Spot repetitive steps, manual bottlenecks, or data mismatches in daily schedules and apply software tools or automated rules to streamline them.

• Handle Distributed Inquiries: Resolve payment holds, account discrepancies, and internal approvals through clear written communication across remote teams.

• Maintain Clear Records: Keep ledgers balanced and organized so all accounts remain audit-ready at all times.

Core Qualifications

• 2–5 Years in Operational Accounting: Experience in roles like Financial Analyst, AP/AR Specialist, Revenue Cycle Analyst, or Billing/Reconciliation Specialist.

• High-Volume Environment Background: Practical experience in environments that handle high transaction counts—such as shared service hubs, commercial banking back offices, property management firms, fintechs, or healthcare billing operations.

• Tech-Minded Approach: Demonstrable history of using digital tools to reduce manual steps (e.g., using Advanced Excel features, setting up workflow rules in software like NetSuite, Sage, or QuickBooks).

• Multi-Screen Multi-Tasking: Comfortable managing several open applications and screens as part of your standard daily routine.

• Distributed Work Skills: Proven capability to collaborate, follow up, and resolve ledger questions independently in a remote team setting.

• Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for identifying numerical discrepancies and balancing complex accounts under routine deadlines.
