JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for an Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to oversee our accounting operations, financial reporting, and remote finance team based in Argentina.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our financial leadership structure, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening accounting processes, and providing reliable financial reporting and insights that support strategic growth. What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of daily accounting operations—ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
• Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
• Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports
• Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to leadership
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures and controls are followed
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance
• Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
• Identify and implement improvements in accounting workflows, reporting systems, and team processes
• Ensure accounting information is complete, accurate, and available on a timely basis for management decision-making

What You Bring

• 15+ years of accounting or finance experience, with a strong track record in leadership
• Strong expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, and cash flow
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, and financial controls
• Experience managing remote teams and working independently
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
