Responsibilities
- Leading month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, banking, and tax activities
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports
- Analyzing financial results and providing insights to support business decisions
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Monitoring cash flow and working capital
- Strengthening internal controls and financial processes
- Leading, coaching, and developing members of the finance team
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, financial institutions, and external partners
Qualifications
- CPA designation (CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of ASPE, GAAP, NPO accounting, and sales tax regulations
- Experience managing month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains), SAP Concur, or Prophix is considered an asset
Required Skills
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of accounting and finance leadership experience
