Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

JOIN OUR TEAM As an Accounting Manager , you will play a key role in ensuring compliance across our international operations at our Munich HQ. Bringing a profound understanding of accounting standards (IFRS, HGB), you will drive financial data integrity and help shape and optimise our global accounting processes. In this position, your analytical mindset will directly contribute to the scalability of our international finance function within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position is permanent and based in Munich . WHAT YOU'LL DO Manage the end-to-end accounting and monthly closing operations across our global legal entities, ensuring full compliance with HGB and IFRS standards Ensure the data integrity and precise reconciliation of sub-ledgers, balance sheet positions, and intercompany balances Review and analyse the Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements, performing variance analyses to guarantee the highest financial data quality Provide reliable financial data and preparatory inputs to our internal tax team for VAT and statutory reporting purposes Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements and accompanying notes for separate legal entities Proactively identify opportunities to streamline, digitalise, and structure accounting workflows and ERP data interfaces to support our operating leverage goals Act as a key point of contact for external auditors during annual and interim audit processes YOU COME WITH Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting 3+ years of relevant, hands-on experience in corporate accounting, preferably within an international, listed company or a reputable audit firm Solid knowledge of dual-framework accounting, featuring a strong functional understanding of HGB and IFRS principles Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail and a profound, end-to-end understanding of financial reporting Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, alongside high comfort levels with modern ERP landscapes, with experience in Microsoft Business Central considered a plus A self-driven, hands-on approach with a growth mindset and a willingness to optimise workflows and think outside the box Fluency in both German and English with excellent communication skills WHY WESTWING If you are looking for a place where ambition meets creativity, where ideas turn into impact fast, and where people are trusted to grow - you have found it.
