Supports accounting, reporting, and financial operations by processing transactions, preparing reports, analysing financial data, managing invoices and payments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. Collaborates with stakeholders to support budgeting activities and maintain accurate financial records

Role Highlights

  • Supports accounting month end closing, Group reporting and statutory reporting, ensuring financials are reported accurately and within stipulated timeline couple with compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.

The Opportunity:

Supports accounting, reporting, and financial operations by processing transactions, preparing reports, analysing financial data, managing invoices and payments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. Collaborates with stakeholders to support budgeting activities and maintain accurate financial records.


Your New Role:

  • Contribute to the development of the team's business plan to maximise productivity and performance.
  • Ensure all processes are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced colleagues to increase capability and share knowledge.
  • Coordinate and manage group reporting deliverables, ensuring timely submission of accurate financial information and resolution of reporting issues raised by Group and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to meet financial obligations.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to continuously improve efficiency.
  • Assist with special investigations/projects concerning commercial accounting issues as required.
  • Participate in internal meetings to share and develop strategy, knowledge, and best practices.
  • Assist in managing the credit control aspects of the business.
  • Ad hoc assignments when there are requests for.

About You

  • A recognised Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualifications, with at least 4 years of relevant experiences with insurers and/or auditing experiences, with added advantages of audit experiences with Big 4.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office, and preferably with Oracle exposure.
  • Ability to be as team player and meeting deadlines, in particular reporting timelines.
  • Good analytical skills and solving problems whenever there are needed.
  • Management of stakeholders to communicate the necessary requirements to resolve issues.
  • Experiences in Treasury or Settlements is an advantage.
