Accounting Specialist - Remote

IDA& Co Limited is a dynamic consulting and accountancy firm serving a growing client portfolio across Turkiye and the United Kingdom. The team specializes in meticulous bookkeeping, strategic tax advice, and bespoke consulting services — with a strong focus on UK-based companies.

As an Accounting Specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining and managing the financial records of our clients, primarily UK-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable — End-to-end processing including invoicing, payment tracking, and managing overdue accounts

Month-End Accounting & Journal Entries — Preparing and adjusting journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and ensuring ledgers reflect accurate financial data

Account Reconciliations — Detailed reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

Expense Processing — Verifying, allocating, and recording transactions in line with company policy

Regulatory & Institutional Communication — Liaising with UK tax authorities and government bodies as needed

Payroll Support — Assisting in the payroll process (full training provided)
