Accounting Supervisor

On behalf of our client, a leading multinational company in the industrial sector, we are seeking an Accounting Supervisor . Main Responsibilities Ensure the smooth operation of the accounting department and full compliance with accounting and tax regulations Supervise, guide, and evaluate the accounting team Ensure accurate accounting records in accordance with Greek GAAP and IFRS Monitor and manage tax obligations (VAT, withholding taxes, tax filings) Oversee the correct functioning and submissions of 'myData' and provide support during tax audits Prepare financial statements and management reports, and participate in the annual financial closing process Liaise with external partners and auditors during audit processes Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and review balance sheets Support the team with ad hoc financial analyses Drive process improvements and implement internal controls and compliance procedures BS'c degree in Economics, Accounting & Finance, or Business Administration MS'c degree in a related financial field will be considered an asset Professional certifications in Greek GAAP and IFRS will be considered an asset At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IFRS Excellent knowledge and experience with SAP and good understanding of myData Certified A’ Class Accountant license is desired Excellent command of both Greek and English
