We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accounts payable, managing daily payable batches, and handling vendor payments across all US locations. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, including expense reports and other account payable activities.

Responsibilities

• Process bills in coordination with various locations to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Prepare daily accounts payable batches for US locations.
• Prepare, print, and mail check runs weekly for vendor invoice payments.
• Collaborate with all departments to resolve purchase order/invoice discrepancies and ensure efficient invoice payments.
• Calculate discounts, determine proper due dates according to terms offered, and issue debit or credit notes as necessary.
• Research and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies with suppliers/vendors.
• Assist in new vendor setup verification by following company rules and procedures.
• Process invoices using a 3-way match system and apply the Company Chart of Accounts where applicable.
• Prepare ACHs and wires twice weekly.
• Prepare all payable vouchers prior to the next register (check request) for all locations.
• Maintain files for accounts payable.
• Interface with public accounting firm on year-end financial audits and with bank auditors during quarterly field exams.
• Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.

Essential Skills

• 3 years experience in accounts payable and/or general accounting.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of SAP and company-related software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated, and self-reliant.
• Excellent cooperation and collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle personal and confidential information.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, though experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• If possessing 5+ years of experience, potential for higher compensation.

Work Environment

The position requires working in-office within the accounting department, alongside the rest of the team. This is a temporary role with potential for long-term opportunities as the company is currently growing.

This is a Contract position based out of Burton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
