Your responsibilities will include: Process and Match Supplier Invoices: Accurately match incoming invoices against purchase orders (PO) and warehouse receival/delivery documentation, ensuring correct General Ledger (GL) coding and cost center distribution. Calculate Import and Landed Costs: Accurately calculate, allocate, and track landed costs including overseas freight, import duties, and customs clearance across inventory lines. Manage AP inbox & Payment Runs: Manage the central accounts payable inbox, perform supplier statement reconciliations, and prepare weekly/fortnightly payment schedules for executive review. Ledger Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations between the AP subledger and GL, resolving unmatched Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) items and ensuring zero unexplained variances. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with onshore Australian procurement, warehousing, and logistics teams to quickly resolve purchase order or delivery discrepancies. Month-End Support: Maintain accurate supplier data and assist with month-end close reporting, including AP accruals. What You’ll Bring Accounting/Finance Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant AP Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Accounts Payable / Full-Cycle AP experience working with Western businesses (Australia, US, UK, NZ, or Canada), preferably within wholesale, retail, warehousing, or distribution industries. Landed Cost Expertise: Strong knowledge of import costing methodology, landed cost allocations, freight tracking, customs duty, and inventory accounting principles. ERP Proficiency: Proven experience navigating enterprise accounting software/ERP systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or similar platforms. Ready to Apply?
